I would like to collect the following detailed information about the issue:
1. Do you have a local Exchange system in the current local AD environment now?
2. If yes, what is the staffs’ current mail object, such as mailbox users?
3. If no, what is the staffs’ current AD object, such as a normal AD user?
4. After your service are migrated to Office 365, have you used the Directory Synchronization tool to synchronize the local AD objects?
5. You mentioned that some users’ email addresses showed like “email@domain.local” in Office 365. Generally, if a local user’s email address cannot be recognized by Office 365, it will show as “email@domain.onmicrosoft.com”. Could you please provide a screenshot about it?

6. Please go to the Domains page and check whether school.com can be seen.
