With o365 with the newer version of DirSync with passwords, we may want to migrate to ADFS at a later date. I just want to confirm:-
1 - is this supported?
2 - What is the process?
a) Install ADFS infrastructure on local domain (will have no impact on o365)
b) Configure o365 to use ADFS via powershell commands "Set-MsolADFSContext " and "Convert-MsolDomainToFederated "
Is that it?
Does DirSync need to be uninstalled before running (b) and installed again after? Or can it be left running?
3) Can DirSync still sync the passwords such that if ADFS fails o365 can be told to authenticate against its own password database (which would be in sync with AD?)
4) Any user downtime with this? Or would they not really notice?
5) Assume if DirSync is removed/reinstalled (with same OU filtering rules etc) - that there is no risk of dataloss :)
Thanks
