Hi,
We have this situation domain.com and sub.domain.com
Setup dirsync with domain.com, migrated a part of domain.com mailboxes to Exchange Online and all mailboxes from sub.domain.com
Removed local exchange server from sub.domain.com
Now we want to update / change an e-mail alias from a user in sub.domain.com
We don't have the exchange attributes available anymore in this subdomain and Exchange Online does not allow to add an alias for this user because dirsync is still active.
What's the correct way to update an users e-mail alias in sub.domain.com ?
Can we stop the sync for sub.domain.com or filter it out from dirsync?
