Synchronization Service Manager No SourceAD

I'm trying to configure filtering for directory synchronization following the instructions linked below to set-up a user-attribute-based filtering.  But when I go to the "Synchronization Service Manger" there is no "SourceAD" present.  (see attached screen capture).

Any idea why this is not there, it is syncing I just want to filter what it is syncing.
