Windows 2012 R2 domain controller on Windows 2008 R2 forest

hello! i'm adding new Windows 2012 R2 domain controller on our on-premise domain syncronizated with office 365. It will not be the unique domain controller, we have already two Windows 2008r2 domain controller. On dirsynctool system requirements (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj151831.aspx) Windows 2012 r2 domain controller doesn't exist. could we add it?
