It looks like I need to have the ADFS server online for this command to work, but my ADFS server is uninstalled & gone. It does say so much in one of the links provided & when I try to run it I get:

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> connect-msolservice

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Convert-MSOLDomainToStandard -DomainName my.domain.name.uk -SkipUserConversion $True

cmdlet Convert-MsolDomainToStandard at command pipeline position 1

Supply values for the following parameters:

PasswordFile: C:\temp\O365.txt

Convert-MSOLDomainToStandard : Failed to connect to Active Directory

Federation Services 2.0 on the local machine.  Please try running

Set-MsolADFSContext before running this command again.

At line:1 char:1

+ Convert-MSOLDomainToStandard -DomainName seafordhead.e-sussex.sch.uk

-SkipUserCo ...

  ard], FederationException

   + FullyQualifiedErrorId : InvalidCommandSequenceGeneva,Microsoft.Online.Id

  entity.Federation.Powershell.ConvertDomainToManaged

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32>

Here's hoping that there is an alternative route.

Thanks,

John.
