We've configured a Hybrid Exchange 2010 SP3 and O365 environment with DirSync and it is functioning well.
Prior to implementing DirSync, we had a few users manually created in our O365 tenant. These users were soft matched when DirSync was deployed and I thought all was well.
I've since noticed that these users do not exist in the O365 GAL, and I cannot move the on premise mailbox to O365 - O365 seems to be unaware of the on premise mailbox and/or user. All user passwords are synchronising OK.
I've been unable to find any solutions online, but I have come across others with the same issue. I had though about disabling DirSync and deleting the users from O365 and then enabling DirSync, but the users are already using OneDrive quite heavily.
Is there an elegant solution to this issue?
