I suggest you follow these steps to check the status of DirSync:
1. Manage Windows Azure AD using Windows PowerShell.
2. Run this command: (Get-MsolCompanyInformation).DirectorySynchronizationEnabled
When this cmdlet returns False, it indicates directory synchronization has been disabled. It may take 72 hours for deactivation to be completed.
In addition, I have noticed the tag of the thread is Small Business. As far as I know, DirSync isn’t available for a Small Business plan. Could you please let me know which plan of Office 365 you are using, such as Small Business or Enterprise?
