As stated I already tried to disable it using powershell as per your link - this is where it shows "you cannot turn off active directory syncronisation....."
Yes, I have an SMB subscription although it is not supported, it allows me to activate dirsync via the Azure GUI, it's only after I've done it that I realised that dirsync is not supported on my account. That's why I want to disable it now as I don't want to use any features in my account that is not officially supported.
Is there any other way to disable dirsync?
