User account synced with O365 but user unable to log in

I currently have 57 users synced with Office 365 thru Azure and able to log into SharePoint with no problems.  I added a user to that list, and showed a correct sync with my onsite AD and O365.  I see the user in O365, was able to give them a SharePoint Online license and have verified the account details are syncing correctly between the two.

However, when attempting to log in as that user into SharePoint website, I receive a "We don't recongize this user ID or password".

We are using username@ourdomain.com for the username and I have even tried changing the password, re-syncing with AD and still receive the same error.  

Looking for any direction or suggestions as to why this one user is not able to log in.
