Re: A referral was returned from the Server

The local administrator account required by the Dirsync wizard should be a member of the local security group Enterprise Admins.

Regarding error message:"The following Active Directory Domain Services error occured: A referral

was returned from the server.", this issue is related to Windows Server.  Microsoft provides a specific support channel to help customer resolve this kind of issue.

Please create a new post in the Windows Server forum to get a better answer.
