1. If I Activate DirSync in Azure from this hybrid AD to Azure/O365 will any live user accounts in O365 be overwritten?
A. The short answer is no.
2. Will all AD/O365 object management be locked to AD for the existing O365 accounts - even though they don't exist in AD?
A: If you have a same user object in AD, it will generate errors after you perform Dirsync because of the duplicate object. Could you give an example for this question if I misunderstand the situation?
3. Is there a process to move the existing live user accounts from "In Cloud" to "Synced in Active Directory" without losing email or attributes?
A: Your understanding is correct. We need to use smtp match, and set passwords in AD before running Dirsync.
